A little relationship TLC..

Getting married is exciting, but it’s also a beautiful opportunity to pause, check in with each other and think about the kind of marriage you want to build together.

As your celebrant, I’m required to provide you with the Australian Government’s “Happily Ever… Before and After” information booklet. It covers things like the legal side of getting married, changing your name and some helpful information about maintaining a healthy relationship. Have a read through it here.

But I’d also encourage you to go a little further. Have the conversations that matter. What makes each of you feel loved and supported? How do you navigate disagreements? What happens when life gets a little messy, and how can you continue to show up for each other through it all?

You don’t need to have all the answers. What matters is staying curious about each other, being willing to listen and continuing to learn as you grow together.
