I’m someone whose own marriage brought together two cultures. As an Australian-born celebrant with Sri Lankan heritage, married to an Aussie husband, I understand the beauty of weaving timeless traditions with a personal, respectful approach that reflects the world we live in today.

  • Before celebrancy, I spent 10 years working as a physiotherapist in Sydney and London… which probably explains why I’m equal parts organised and people-obsessed.

    I’ve always been the kind of person who could chat to anyone (honestly, even a brick wall) and I’ve never really done life the “normal” way - think riding a motorbike to work, getting my scuba licence and then realising...hey, I would love to be a marriage celebrant. 

    Somewhere in between, I spent a year backpacking the world with my husband - my favourite human and adventure buddy. He’d describe me as someone who brings positive energy, loves a dance floor and is always up for a late-night deep and meaningful (he’s not wrong).

    So yeah - I’m just a big fan of love, human connection and creating special moments of JOY.

  • I’m all about creating a ceremony that feels like you - not something cookie-cutter or overly scripted.
    There’ll be the heartfelt moments (the ones that give you goosebumps),
    balanced with light, easy laughter so everyone feels comfortable and connected.
    No awkward stiffness. No drawn-out rambling.
    Just a ceremony that tells your story in a way that actually lands - for you and your guests.

  • I’m based in Sydney, but I’m always up for an adventure - whether that’s interstate or overseas.

    Travel costs (like flights and accommodation) can apply, but the best way is to reach out and we can figure it out together.

  • I’m a big believer that love is love - always has been, always will be.
    If you’re marrying another consenting, wonderful human… I’m already in your corner.

  • I’ve got you - I’ll guide you through all of this so nothing feels overwhelming.

    To get legally married, I’ll need to sight:

    • your passport OR

    • your driver’s licence + birth certificate

    If you’ve been married before, I’ll also need:

    • divorce certificate or

    • death certificate of your previous spouse
